Thanks for visiting. I’d like to introduce you to my incredible new office space which is located in Suite 302 of the Rockyview Health Centre (intersection of Glenmore Trail and Elbow Drive). This brand new space is a huge benefit to clients in that it is easy to access and the welcoming, beautifully appointed rooms greatly improve the comfort of traditional office visits.
You will notice that my new website is called Nurtured Learning and this aptly reflects my philosophical approach to all my clients. I truly believe that when clients need help at different points in their lives [e.g., with parenting challenges, a child’s emotional or self regulation difficulties or when needing an assessment for AD/HD, LD or ASD (formerly Aspergers]; a nurturing, caring approach is always the best one to take. That has been and will always be my motto.
Notice as well the dragonfly logo. It is also symbolic. Did you know that in almost every part of the world, the dragonfly symbolizes change? And not just any change. I’m talking about change in the perspective of self-exploration. That is, the kind of mental and emotional growth that leads to a deeper understanding of the true meaning of life. In fact, the dragonfly’s scurrying flight across water is thought to represent an act of going beyond what’s on the surface and looking into the deeper implications and aspects of life. So, if you are looking for therapy for yourself or a family member, and would like to become more mindful in day to day life (i.e., with parenting, work, close relationships), then my therapeutic approach may be well-suited to your goals.
